Procedure Rationalisation
With the merging of companies, divestment and acquisition of assets, today's organisations are quite often faced with duplication of procedures, in some cases several addressing the same subject matter and executed in similar, but also in different ways. To maintain such a set-up is both time consuming and costly. In addition, they create the problem for company personnel who have to be conversant with different ways of doing a job depending on which part of the organisation/asset they are working for at the time. In reality, this does not happen and can lead to potential poor quality and HSE issues.
